NICKEL PLATING |
PROCESSING - ELECTROLESS NICKEL Electroless nickel plating involves the deposition of a thin layer of nickel without the use of electricity. Other plating processes such as chrome, copper or cadmium, require electricity to attract the plating material to the substrate. This results in uneven plating thickness, which may require post plating correction. With electroless nickel, the plating is deposited evenly on all surfaces including grooves, outside corners, and blind holes. No post plating grinding or clean up is necessary.
PROCESSING - ELECTROLESS NICKEL TEFLON ® By adding a fine dispersion of Teflon® particles to the plating solution, an extremely lubrous coating is produced. This coating has proven immensely effective in the plastic molding, textile and packaging industries for its anti stick properties.
